Physicians Insurance A Mutual Company Board of Directors

Physicians Insurance is a mutual insurance company governed by a board of directors elected by the policyholders. Physician control of the Board is guaranteed by the bylaws, and your company benefits from the expertise of several nonphysician directors. The Board’s nominating committee reviews applications from interested policyholders and includes on the ballot any policyholder who submits a qualifying petition for nomination signed by at least 30 policyholders. In recognition of the continuing importance of our close ties, the Washington State Medical Association nominates two directors. Below are the names of the current Board members.
