Employment Practices Coverage
Employment-related lawsuits are the fastest-growing type of civil litigation in the United States. Insureds need to be aware of this exposure and plan for the future. Physicians Insurance offers the following services to meet our members’ human resource needs:
Employment Practices Liability (EPL) endorsement coverage provides up to $100,000 per insured event for the defense and costs of employment-related claims, with a $1,000 deductible. Because it is built into most of the professional liability policies, there is no extra charge for this coverage.
Upgraded coverage for employment-related lawsuits is available to qualified applicants as a separate policy through our Agency. This policy uses the $100,000 endorsement as a deductible to offer significant premium savings and can include the following additional benefits:
